The Martinez MC88CCE is the modern cutaway verison of the MC88C with a much narrower neck for improved playability. The installed Fishman Presys Blend is a dual source system, undersaddle pickup plus microphone, which sounds very natural. The added microphone really lets this system breathe and amplifies all the small details.
The machine heads are very precise and look more luxurious. The MC88CCE has beautiful real wooden bindings and luxurious tie block. Most important however is that the sound is more refined with great projection. The rosewood sides and back give the instrument definition and depth, the cedar top is responsible for the warm sound with quick response.
This Martinez guitar has new features such as the angled bone saddle and the lightweight trussrod with hidden access. Excellent playability is standard with Martinez Guitars.
