The elegant MC118C is Martinez' first all solid wood guitar. The beautiful mahogany and cedar appearance underline the light and lively tone. As any cedar top, this also provides warmth and immediacy in sound. The playability is, perfect. A dual action trussrod is installed in the neck so the neck can be adjusted to the players' preference. The mahogany details in the headstock and rosette are testimony to Martinez sense of design.
The machine heads have a very nice feature in which the shaft becomes friction free thanks to a bearing located at the end of the roller’s shaft, providing a smooth and accurate tuning with a minimum rotating effort!
