The MC48 is Martinez' best selling guitar for music school students, here it is presented in a stage-worthy variation. This cutaway version has a narrower neck, making it easier to play this guitar standing up on stage. Martinez marries the traditional Spanish construction with modern features as excellent playability and a modern trussrod to have the most stable neck possible, The installed Fishman Presys II system has controls for volume, treble, bass, phase and tuner. The new hidden acces truss rod allows for easy set-ups and for stability without interfering with the tone. This new lightweight trussrod is the latest innovation that sets Martinez apart from the crowd.
The MC-48 has a warm sound with direct response, due to the solid cedar top. The mahogany sides and back make the sound light and forgiving.
